Walthamstow - Watford?

Question

How do I get from Walthamstow (Blackhorse Road) to Watford Harlequin Shopping Centre by public transport.

Have already looked on tfl website am looing for an alternative route if possible as have found that TFL doesnt always give the most straightforward route

There's also www.transportdirect.info but it will give a similar outcome, the tfl website seemed to give at least one straightforward route, take the Victoria Line to Euston & pick up a train to Watford High Street Station from there then use the map provided by the shopping centre to walk there:
