  1. Hi there from Düsseldorf, Germany...

    lol, I have to smile, because not even in Germany lotta people know Waltrop...  Waltrop is not far from where I live, a small city at the edge of the Ruhrgebiet, an industrial area. Though Waltrop already is on the landside and belongs to the so called "Münsterland", a nice place to be if you want to rest or make silent vacations. It's just a few minutes drive and you are in Recklinghausen, the next, but also small city. People there are very friendly and you have opportunities to go shopping.

    In this area everything is very close together, so you only have to drive 30 minutes, and you are in Dortmund, which is a real nice and amazing big city (the town I was born by the way, lol).

    Anyway, Waltrop is NOT Bavaria, there is NO Oktoberfest and they do NOT wear leather pants there and only eat sauerkraut and bratwurst...lol   Waltrop is a typical small German village. That's it.
