i have 2 bank accounts and one is overdrawn if i put money in my other account will they take it out because i owe money on my other account?

Yes, I just had this happen to me. They took out enough to even the 2nd account out(without warning me), then said I had insufficient funds (when it was at $0) then charged me $33.00 overdraft charge. Since they took the money out of my 1st account, it made me overdraw that one, and then charged me $33.00 again. This leaving both accounts overdrawn again. I canceled my accounts yesterday and won't use Washington Mutual again!

If you have overdraft protection enabled with your 2nd account (must be a savings), they will charge a fee for doing the transfer themselves, but you have to make sure you can cover the shortage in your checking account.
