Wana help a deprived irish surfer find a surf spot???

Question

i live in dublin and i am going crazy coz i can only make that trip down to tramore once a month, and to the west once every 4 or 5 months. iv never considered that there might be any surf in dublin/wicklow but i have to find somewhere close to go before i go completely insane!!!!!!!! anyone know anywhere good?????

Unfortunatly you live in a wave starved part of the Ireland. All you can do is check the weather forecasts for Eaterlies and then when it swings round to the prevailing south westerlies, get to the beach as quick as possible.

I used to live in south Devon and it was a nightmare. Now live in Cornwall. Past 25 years have been sweet surf wise.
