Wang Lin trounces Jamie Subandhi in Women’s Singles qualifying round at Li Ning China Masters 2012
China’s Wang Lin cheered her home crowd with her tremendous skills as she found her way into Women’s Singles main round after crushing Jamie Subandhi of USA in qualifying round clash at Li Ning China Open 2012 in Shanghai, on Tuesday, November 13.
The lofty Lin, who has been showing a great performance in the recent International tournaments, found an impressive start in the home event and easily crushed Jamie by taking the court time for just 20 minutes.
Chinese shuttler was in remarkable form on court as she did not show any mercy to her USA opponent by playing top class badminton and remained successful in winning the match in straight sets with a one-sided margin.
In the meanwhile, the confused USA shuttler failed to show aggression on court as she could not play aggressive badminton and remained trailing behind all the way and eventually crashed out without getting closer to her local challenger.
The in-form Lin put up an amazing display of powerful shots on court from the opening points of first set and created a remarkable pressure on her rival.
Lin was quite comfortable in taking the bird timely and she did not face any complication in maintaining her upper hand over her challenger.
Until the mid-game break, the in-form Lin managed a comfortable difference on the board while remaining fully focused in the arena.
After the break, the battle progressed in the similar fashion and it was Lin who did not lose her control in the arena.
Chinese shuttler was very calm and composed in the arena and did not spare any chance for her opponent to put up strong show and took the set with a huge 21-7 score on the board.
In the second game, Lin did not lose her control over the pace of rallies and managed to remain in lead until the end of opening half.
After the break, the Chinese lady continued her impressive craft on court that helped her to bag the game with a stunning 21-11 score on the board.
The aggressive Lin won this Women’s Singles qualifying round clash in straight games with a dominating difference of 21-7 and 21-11.
