Part of me says that all h**l will break loose with the far left legislation that will be passed.

But another part of me says that not much will change.  Politicians are politicians, they are a cowardly bunch no matter what side they are on.  They wouldn't have the courage to actually try anything too new and distinctive from other congresses or administrations.

Yes ... Autocracy. One man (obama) with full power and carte blanche to do whatever he pleases and there is NOTHING anybody will be able to do about it.

This country would fall into the worst great depression in world history.  Thank God that the democratic lead Congress has proven their worth with nothing to show for it but an 11% rating which has now dipped to 9%.

The last time the US was in a depression, Democratic FDR and Congress worked together to pass the New Deal which got us OUT. I don't know if that CAN work again, the US is SO FAR in debt as a nation, along with all of the bad investments (banking crisis, housing crisis, foreclosures high and getting higher, margin calls). After the 1929 crash, buying stocks on a margin was made illegal. Did we learn - NO. Did we make it legal again? Yes. Did history repeat itself.... YES.

This time though, it won't be a World War that gets the US out of the depression finally.

The Democrats had control of the Congress for two years and have proven to be dismal failures in achievement. Name their accomplishments and don't bring up minimum wage. Their take on immigration is absolutely  horrid. The idiots tacked so many earmarks to the bill that it was an abortion. And they certainly feathered their nest with earmarks. So when some Democrat says Roosevelt did things for people and that is why he will vote Democrat, He should have said Truman for he was the President to be admired  and I say this as a staunch Republican. The Democratic party is in the hands of George Soros and his big buck support, Move On which is a leftist inclined group with no  apparent restrictions.
