Wanna hear the dumbest question ever???

Question

I was tellin a friend of mine about a stock investment I heard about that a lot of people have been making money off of. I gave him the details, such as you buy in with $1000 and every 6 months they pay back $$7000. They also have 2 and 4 month plans, where they pay back $2000 and $4000 respectively, but they give you $7000 as in incentive for taking the longest plan. Anyways, after I finished explaining everything to him this fool said, "why would a company sell you stock knowing that it's going to keep going up?" What a dumb@$$!!!!
