my love broke up with me saying that i am a mental (for a long period about3 years). he says he has tried so much to set me right and has tolerated me for such a long time and couldn't do it anymore.

he always wanted me to consult with a psychiatrist. now i seriously feel like doing it. my doubt is, how will be a meeting with a psychiatrist??? i really cant imagine how it'll be. will it be a long story i say, doc listens and says u r wrong in this aspect and do this and that?? will it be over in one meeting or will the doc ask me to come back doing this and that?

will it be a long process? (say if i have some attitude and behavioural problems)

  1. the psychiatrist will just sit you down, you tell them your problem like you would with a normal doctor and the psychiatrist will see, if you have any mental illnesses or anything by just talking to you.

and it can be a long process it depends on what the psychiatrist thinks is best for you. but trust me you will want it to be a short process.

  2. It seems ,you are not in a position of non-treatable. You can approach any psychiatrist with prior appointment. He/She will exams you and give counseling as well as drugs. The period of recovery depends to your co operation to psychiatrist.  You have to visit the Doctor only 2 to 3 times ,is enough.

Once again I promise you, that you will get cured with in couple of months.
