ok well i didn't wanna play football this year because i am a freshman this year and the freshman team is like a joke in high school well at mine it is. All the older kids don't pay attention to it. So i am just gonna workout and get ready for next year. Here are my stats I am

5 Foot 7 Inches(i'll grow in the next year)

14 Years old

128 Pounds.

I need a workout plan to get me all ready to play cornerback next year(starting). I don't got much workout equipment except a treadmill(which i run 2 miles about 3-4 times a week)

A benchpress

and some dumbbells. So all you fitness experts and football experts i need a workout plan and some tips on how to play cornerback. I know its gonna take a lot but i'm willing to do it. :)

  1. get a squat bar and weights for it and do squats then you will be able to jump higher and run faster.  also agility training ; sprints and stuff

  2. Sprints - start on the 5, sprint to the 10, run back to the 5, sprint to the 20, run back to the 5, sprint to the 30, and so on and so forth all the way to the 50, THEN stop and breathe. Do this 2x a week. After 4 weeks, add full pads.

Stadium stairs - run up then down the stadium stairs after every team workout. After 4 weeks, add full pads.

Jumping - jump up and down over low objects wearing full pads.

Practice catching the ball from a short toss, then sprinting down the field all the way to the end zone, jumping over low objects. Practice zig-zagging across the field with the ball wearing full pads.

Keep up this workout all the way up to tryouts. Soccer in spring or winter will help keep you in running shape until football next summer.

  3. Google Terrell Owen workout plan...

it's the truth i just started it..
