Rincon. the town has the best beaches. i stayed there and had a wonderful time with my family. we rented a car at b-smart rent a car. 787-823-3438. low prices for a car. we stood at a guest house there and visited a lot of beach front restaurants. if you decide to go, have a great time.

There are pretty deceint inexpensive small hotels on the Condado in San Juan PR.

Google the Tourism Office for information on Paradores De Puerto Rico. These are like inns or motels that have reasonable rates. There are a couple of them in the Metropolitan area.In U.S. Virgin Islands the Windham Hotel is also very reasonable. Good luck and enjoy your trip.
