  1. Try changing your pre- sleep routine:

    1. Eat a cracker and  slice of turkey and hour before you plan to sleep. Turkey contains trytophan which is the compound that makes us sleepy after eating Thanksgiving dinner

    2. Drink chamomile tea.

    3. Stretch your neck and back gently and hour before sleep time

    4. Avoid coffee and sodas with caffeine

    5. Try to ensure that you are not snoring. Many times people wake themselves up during the night snoring without being aware of it. It explains why you may be tired the next day.

  2. I had a similar situation.  What I did is I stayed awake instead of going to sleep the 1st day the next day I was very tired and I went to bed at around 9/10 pm and I got up at I think around 6am.  This may take a couple of tries, but it worked for me.

  3. i suggest you stay up to 7pm and fall asleep.

    same thing happened to me.

  4. slowly shift your time frame. first start by going to bed 10 minutes

then go to bed 20 minutes earlier, and so forth, after a while you'll be back to normal

  5. youll have to stay up all day and night... just dont go to sleep one day, and hold out through till 9... youll be so tired that you will sleep

  6. excercise, it tires you out and makes your body want to rest.

  7. Smoke a joint or a just a bowl at whatever time you want to go to bed. Then just lay in bed and smoke and try laying down with your eyes closed while the tv or music plays and before you know it you'll be out like a light!

  12. Sounds like you've totally disturbed your sleeping pattern.  You are going to have to find a way to stay up during the day and go to sleep at night.  I know, sounds easier said than done.  Make a pot of coffee, invite a friend over, go for a walk and try and stay awake.  Good luck and I"m sure you'll be in dreamland before you know it!!

  14. Well do what you usually do tonight. wake up whenever you do tomarrow. then go play some basketball, run, or do some type of serious physical actiivity a few hours before 9. basically wear your body out.

Now turn off all the lights, try and make it completley dark. And just chill. Close your eyes and relax. try to go to sleep of course. if after 30 min or so you are still awake, read a book by lamp light. then try again. oh yes yawning a few times helps to. just don't let your mind wander too far, and you start thinking about all kinds of stuff. try that for a few nights and see where it gets you

  15. do heavy work in the morning or go to amusement parks like MGM with ur friends and be engaged on the whole day and then too if u didnt go to sleep, eat white pongal(indian traditional food)at night ya
