  1. Show her you are very responsible- clean your room (and keep it that way), and do extra things around the house without being asked. Research mice and tell your mom a few things about mice throughout each day. Tell her the upsides of mice (they are low maintenance, very cute, sweet, etc) and tell her you will pay for the mouse and cage, food, bedding etc. Then take her to the pet store to "look around" and show her the cute mice- if she doesn't say yes after all of that, she probably will then! Good luck!

PS: I recommend you get a male mouse as female mice are more social and will want another mouse to play with. Male mice are actually just as happy left alone, so if you get just one get a male, and if you get a pair get females.

  2. I HAVE 5 MICE AND THEY ARE VERY GENTLE CREATURES, AS WELL AS EASY TO TAKE CARE OF. MAYBE YOU COULD TELL HER SOMETHING ALONG THE LINES THAT A MOUSE WOULD BE EASIER TO TAKE CARE OF THEN A DOG AND MORE FUN THAN A FISH...LOL GOOD LUCK

  3. Female mice need to be kept in same s*x pairs. If you want a single one, get a male. Males are territorial and very difficult to keep with other males, so they are usually best kept alone.

  4. Well, just say.... "Mum, its either a mouse, or a camel." Lol.

I had 6 mice, that bred and bred, which came to 24 all together. Its ace. Surprisingly, we didn't lose any. They are pimps to look after and they don't even bite.Aggressiveness wise, Hamsters are lions and mice are ants. Lol. They are seriously lovely. Let your mum read my comment and see what she sais. HI randomers mum. Let her have a mouse. I'm 13, and i coped with 24 all on my own!

#8  Always share with other kids.

#9 Go to bed when you are told to.

#10 Research the pet and breed you want to be 100% certain that it is the right one for you.

    # 11 Ask them about getting this new pet in a nice way and don't beg and whine about it.

If 100% sure that if you give those a try, they will see that you are serious about wanting to add a this pet to your life and family. :)
