Want an good Speaker for home and PC?

I want an speaker system for my home entertainment and also for my PC. i jus saw the web portals of logitech and creative brands. Both seems to be good. But i m really confused which one to go for. i need your suggestion regarding thse two brands. How reliable they are in terms of quality and service. Plz let me know. thank you

for pc i prefer logitech & for home use a 5.1 home theatre system i have an lg one with usb port its really good for 8000

If ur PC is in a big Hall only then opt for 5.1 otherwise 5.1 are not suitable for small or normal rooms especially using with a PC since you will only get wire mess without any significant difference in sound as of 2.1.

Opt for 2.1 Creative or Altec Lansing Speaker.

Its funny you ask this, I was curious to this too and I figured out what would be best. A 5.1 home theater is your best bet, at least, a 5.1-capable receiver. Once you get a receiver you'll be able to hook up your computer to it, then also as long as you get at least 2 front speakers and a subwoofer you'll have a 2.1 system that you can use for both movies and the computer.

You CAN purchase a "home-theater-in-a-box" system, but the only drawbacks are that 1.They usually only come in 5.1 or 7.1 (which isnt a bad thing, everything will still work fine, but your paying extra for something that may not be worth the extra/needed) and 2. "HTIB" systems in general won't sound as great as a hand picked home theater system.

I say, start out with a receiver, then purchase at least 2 front speakers (if possible, a subwoofer as well if you want that "umph" in your sound). Remember you only need the receiver and 2 front speakers for it all to work, but if you truly require the surround sound, you can always buy the rest of the speakers.
