Want more info re: older single speed bicycle ( Phoenix brand) ,Made in China

The brand name is Phoenix .. I've never heard of it, but the seller said Phoenix is the world's largest bicycle manufacturer.

I'd like to know more about China brand bikes -

How do they compare (in terms of quality, maintenance,) with an older U.S. made Schwinn, or a single speed bike from Japan or England?, or with newer Schwinn ( and others) that are now made in China?

I'm interested in any comments, point of views, trivia, etc. Thanks

 i would not be surprised if the Dragon and Phoenix are the biggest bicycles factories, not to enter the world market, but just to keep manufacturing bikes for Chinese. There are A LOT of Chinese riding bikes daily using it as their main transportation.

Dragon and Phoenix are pretty good quality bikes, i love them, don't think you can use them to race but they go pretty fast and very safe and very comfortable. most of all, it become a style to me in this modern age. I've been dreaming to have one of those old Chinese bike in the united states but don't know how... it probably would cost me a fortune to own it here, not to have it for my Ego being fashion but i do miss the chinese bike very much after riding some "advanced" bikes.

the feeling on the old chinese bikes are very different...it's so chill and free! you'd enjoy sitting on that bike and feeling the wind on your face and smile to life. :)
