what would be the best way to inicially promote and advertise my business to make people aware of us, and to make people want to use our service. best ideas get 10 points!

  1. Have a wine and nibbles launch where people can just pop in and ask questions take an add out in the local gazette.

    Make it approachable professional and friendly.hows that for a tag line


  2. Post leaflets through people's letterboxes or hand them out in the town centre. Pin posters up around the town centre.

  3. In addition to other suggestions, also provide related services as a mortgage/loan and insurance broker (building, content, car, life etc). In other words, "one stop shop". This would help secure additonal revenue streams. Link up your website with rightmove etc. Good luck.

  4. Use leaflets, advertise on the local radio stations, adverts on local T.V.

    I work for a bike training school and we tried using our local Cinema for advertising and had loads of customers. Place ads in your local papers, websites, place large sized posters around the area (you may need planning permission to do this). Hand business cards and flyer's to everyone who comes into see you.

    Maybe try a refferal scheme (i.e. we give our customers discounts or cash for each refferal - only with proof though).

  5. fixed fee in this harsh market and how about calling people back when they ring and working for the client and not expecting them to always call you.  So key points, get a few nice places on your books, work hard in promoting them and make sure you call the client on all the details.

  7. Well the most original is leaflet and posters etc! But if you want to get the best results of people using your service then its word of mouth. Do good for just one person and all you have to ask in return is that they tell people! That gives you the best results! :) good luck! x
