Want to be a college advisor?

ok I want to be a college advisor I have a degree in university studies and Im getting a degree in inner city studies I am currently a teacher do you think I can be an advisor with these degrees and the teaching experience?

Typically, you need at least a Master's degree, and usually a Master's in Counseling is the standard preparation.  It depends on the school, though...
