Want to become Florida resident?

okay, so i was born in florida and moved to new york when i was like 6 months old

so now i want to transfer to university in florida for fall 09....how can i become a resident?

changing your state of legal residence is very difficult.  Transferring from one school to another will not make you a resident.  Sorry.

If you move there and work full time while not attending college for a year or two and be self supporting, buy a house, register to vote, pay florida taxes, then maybe.
