  1. Show them videos. http://meat.org

  2. Ask your parents why they don't want you to become vegetarian, and then address their concerns. If they think it's unhealthy, show them websites about veg nutrition.

Good vegetarian sources of protein, iron, and calcium:

The American Dietetic Association is one of the country's top nutrition experts and it supports veg diets for all ages: "Well-planned vegan and other types of vegetarian diets are appropriate for all stages of the life cycle, including during pregnancy, lactation, infancy, childhood and adolescence."

If they think it will involve too much work for them, offer to help with meal planning and cooking. Tell them you're willing to do whatever it takes to be vegetarian.

Also, make sure you talk to them when they're not distracted or stressed out. I hope this helps!

  3. Just refuse to eat meat.

  4. Do research on the health issues  and stuff.

Also, do more research if you havent already about how being vegetarian is good for your health, the planet and for the animals.

If you look to PETA, dont tell your parents, peta has a bad reputation for exagerating stuff.

  5. Tell them why you want to be a vegetarian.

If that doesn't work, then refuse to eat the meat they make for you. That's what I did and my dad hit me in the face but I still refused to eat it. After about a week they saw that I was getting weaker so they gave up and made vegetarian foods for me.
