Just stayed at the Westin North River. I would like to be closer to Hancock Building area - Cheesecake factory - Lake Shore Drive etc. - I like the location. It's a girls weekend - shopping and having a good time.

  1. You can try hotel search in http://www.AmericaCheapHotels.com where you can read hotel details, reviews and comments, see photos and its physical locations through maps, details about important nearby locations ....

Best thing is you can compare the USA/worldwide hotel prices in any city in any country in your local currency.

You can find good deals because this compares hotel prices from 30 best travel websites.

You can even able to filter out hotel by its features such as Star hotels,Business Center, Room Service, High-speed Internet, Fitness Room, Restaurant Parking, Swimming pool, Pets Allowed, Airport shuttle, Handicap Accessible, Concierge ...

Access lots of USA and worldwide travel information.

  2. if you want the best hotel downtown try the hotel intercontinental. other hotels may be closer to the hancock and the cheesecake factory (gag, try the grand luxe cafe on michigan instead), but this is by far the best, especially for a girls weekend.

  3. Congress Hotel is cheaper and on Michigan. W hotel is also very nice and not far.

  4. Sounds Fun.....

The hotels I loved when i visited chicago many times that are ellegant but affordable would be....

    The Allerton

    The Palmer House Hilton

    The Wyndham

All on Magnificent Mile where all the shopping is.

    Hope this helps....

    Have Fun SPLURGE.......

  5. Stay at the Ritz Carlton. It is right next door to the Hancock building. And located INSIDE the Water Tower Place (shopping, shopping, shopping!)  You will love it!  The best bedding I have ever slept on! And the views, and ambiance are terrific, I would highly recommend to you and your friends.

  6. Try the Drake Hotel or the Knickerbocker. They're both about five minutes (walking) from the Hancock Building. They are both pretty pricey, but if you check hotels.com or similar websites, you may be able to find a good deal.
