I have lots of tall sticks outside. I want to make a sturdy "teepee" without having to use any sort of saw or power tool. Can I tie them at the top with rope or something? Will I need a circle of rocks to support the sticks? PLEASE when you answer have a good idea of what you are talking about! Thanks a bunch!! =]

  1. Here are plans and a video for a teepee, and then a video of a TP teepee

  2. I would dig a hole where each stick hits the ground or a trench so you can make them evenly spaced.  Then you should be able to tie them together at the top.

  3. Lay 3 sticks out 2 going in one direction and one in the middle going in the other. They should overlap. Tie the three together with a single loop. This forms a tripod when you stand it up. Add 3 more poles and tie all 6 together where they meet at the top. Tie a rope along the bottom to keep them from collapsing. Use whatever you have to cover your tepee.  If its windy you might want to use some pegs to keep it from blowing over! Good Luck.

  4. idk but i just got two points!
