I want to buy a blue Canon SD1100. Its about $230. Im 13 and I need ideas to get money so I can save up to buy it. Im not one of those kids that can just walk up to their parents and be like Mommy, Daddy I want this and have them go and buy it. I want to earn money this summer, something like earning it online if possible. Any ideas?

  1. Well, the $230 could be earned in many ways.  Ask your parents if they need help around the house.  Clean their entire cars, even wax them.  This can be fun and easy.  Another way, make a flyer and give them to people you know in your neighborhood.  I did that exact same thing for babysitting.  Make a flyer that says: If your in need of a fun responsible babysitter you have just found one. I am 13  years old and have experience with babysiting.  etc.

Sell things on eBay or even have a tag sale.

But, my advice to you is to buy this camera. http://www.target.com/Sony-MPEG4-Net-Sha...  Its from sony and can take pictures and videos.  Very small and easy to use.  Plus its $149 at Target, $90 less than the canon.

    Hope I helped.

  2. CUT GRASS

  3. Even though the current Canon SD1100 comes with the IS option, you can save $70 by buying its predecessor":  the Canon SD1000.

The all time winner bargain compact digital camera is the Canon 7.1 megapixel PowerShot SD1000 [not the IS] 7.1  with an added  2- gig memory card which when set in the manual mode for "Vivid" colors and videos at 30 fps in 320 dpi format provides killer images and videos.  It currently sells for $160 at Sears:

  7. Good for you!  This was refreshing to read!  How about babysitting, petsitting, lawnmowing/weed picking, washing neighbors cars....

....you can go door-to-door and ask neighbors, or pass out flyers.  In response to the person above who said "sell your stuff"...those were probably purchased with your parents hard-earned money, I'd ask them first.  maybe they'll let you have a small yardsale.  Good luck!

  8. i suggest selling a bunch of stuff on ebay. your old toys, old phones, books, collectibles, things like that

    hope i helped!
