if you've ever gone to an indian restaurant, on the dessert menu they may offer something called kulfi (it's like an indian version of ice cream...almost). Except with kulfi, they normally freeze it in certain shape (kind of like the way you make popsicles by filling a popsicle mould). Kulfi can be bought in popsicle form, but traditionally it is not served on a stick, it is frozen in a mould and for serving you just "plate it". Kulfi is not soft that you can scoop the way you do ice cream.
