Want to connect my new lcd TV with my computer?

bought new lcd , have vga cable, but when i connect there is no picture. the enclosed leaflet which came with the lcd tv tells you under PC how to load windows etc, unfortunately not what the procedure is, to convert the lcd into a computer screen. zk

you need to make sure your video output is set to match the tvs resolution and refresh rate.

So it depends on your video card and tv on what it needs to be

In addition to what Andrew says, you need to tell the TV which input is to be displayed (since you said absolutely nothing about switching the TVs input). There will be a button on the TV and on the TV's remote which will allow you to switch between different inputs. Switch it to PC or whatever the input you have connected to is called.
