Majestic Love

I have known you my love I have seen your face

In the sunrise so bright on a warm summers day

I have felt your kind touch in the gentle breeze

And watched as you dance in the swaying trees

Ive heard your voice soft and low

In the delecate drops of the falling snow

What ever I see in nature surrounding

There my dear Lord is your hand abounding

On your creation, a lowley old tree

There precious God, you died for me

So all of nature sings out your praise

Adonai, Savior, the Ancient of Days

You are my Lover, my God and my Friend

My heart sings to you Amen and Amen

  1. It read more like a psalm than a poem, to be honest.

There is nothing poetic in being blunt my friend. The verse is pretty well crafted and literate. So kudos!

However, it reads too much like a passage from the bible - it seems almost plagiarized. Please, go back and think of some clever metaphors for god that people might not have thought about before. Instead of referring to him directly...it's somewhat irksome.

    alas.

    7/10 for writing skill

    4/10 for creativity.

  2. Wonderful!!!!  It's obvious you have the Holy Sprirt flowing through your thoughts, creativity and pen!

    Delecate is spelled wrong (delicate).

God Bless you, and I hope some musician puts your words to music!
