Want to go Paris to interlaken by train. do I need to book ticket in advance in economny 2nd class ?

I am reaching paris on 14th April and want to go to interlaken on 17th morning by train. Do i need to book ticket in advance in Economoy restricted class ??

It would be better but if you plan to travel extensively check with Eurailpass. For one person it is cheaper than renting a car. For two people, better rent al economy size car.

You can travel by train.

I would not rent a car, neither buy a rail pass, because those are likely more expensive.

As part of the travel is by TGV I would advice to book early, as they have a tariff structure that changes the price when it gets nearer the date.
