Want to go aboard but ...??

I am holding a vietnamese passport, but it's expired already. I also hold USA green card. I want to visit Australia but they ask to show passport but I can't apply for USA passport since I am not a citizen yet. Wat to do??

apply for a US citizen, or maybe you can try and get your vietnamese passport updated.... Also, for US citizens require a VISA into Australia (american and had to get one), I don't know about Vietnam, you might not have to, but you should check online to see if they do.
