  1. Hey, well first off, you need to decide if you want to be a Radiologist or a CT Technologist.  There is a BIG difference.  The Radiologist is the MD that interprets the diagnostic tests run in most Radiology departments.  That's about 12 years of school, Bachelors, Medschool, Doctorate, Residency, Fellowship ect.  Now, most CT Technologists start out by going to to Radiography school.  Its a two year degree (more common in todays society), but some universities offer a four year.  With the math issue, I know that most programs require you to have at least one semester of college level math.  In the course work for Radiographers, there are classes on Radiologic Physics and Radiation Protection and Biology that are heavier in the math dept.  If you dont commit yourself to the program it can be strenuous.  You have to study (unless you are a genius..lol) and pay attention because it is alot of material given to you at one time, especially in a two year program.

If you are looking to be a CT Technologist you need to research your area and find out what Radiography programs there are because thats more than likely where you will need to start.  Once you graduate you take your National registry, State registry(iff applicable) and then you can go to CT school, or if a place you are working offers OJT, you can challenge the board to get your CT license.  WHEW!  I wrote a book...

Alright, I hope that helped, if you have any more questions just ask.
