  1. Hi, There is no alternative...  You have to view the falls from the Canadian side...

Plus there are far more "attractions" on the Canadian side... One needs to take a ride up in the Skylon Tower if you really want a spectacular view of the falls as well..

And the "grounds" and parking area on the Canadian side are far superior..

Go, enjoy, and you won't regret your trip there, and you'll want to return asap..

Enjoy..  Regards,  Rachelle In High Heels

  2. Have fun dear one,it's a very fantastic place to go!

  3. I think the Canadian side is WAY better.  The view of the falls is so much better.  From the American side, it's difficult to see the American and Bridal Veil Falls.

The Canadian side has better attractions (I love the glassblowing studios near the Imax theater, the Imax theater itself, the various family attractions).

I think the Canadian side has better/more restaurant options as well.

Plus the Canada side has a casino, which is fun!

I'm not sure which is cheaper.  I don't know the current US/Canada exchange rate...if it's at parity I think Canada might be slightly more expensive.  We went in 06, and at the time it was cheaper to be in Canada, but I'm not sure how things would match up now cost-wise.

  4. the over side  lol

  5. If you are able too view the falls from both sides  try it   the full range of both falls are in front of you on the n.y. side  you can get down to the horseshoe side  and see all the hotels and refrectory , maid of mist landing ,under the falls walk out  you are able too park and pinic there.  most people look out from the can. side but the n.y.side  will give you a complete pic  you can walk out to the amer falls as well
