  2. Nothing is cheap in Paris. I go there every year. The only way, it can be any cheaper for you is if you go during the low season so your hotel rates will be lower or you stay at hostels. Food at restaurants are expensive approximately $30-$50 a meal for one unless you order what they call menu as opposed to a ala carte which is probably about $15 a meal. It is always best to buy the orange metro and is unlimited ride of the metro for a whole week. It will be worth it coz you will be riding the metro a lot! Some museums are free entry, I believe on Sundays. If I were you, I will pick up the book " Paris for dummies" They have a lot of good tips there how to save money. Have a great trip!! Paris est magnifique!!!

  3. Nothing is cheap in Paris, especially one person.

High season now, so airfare is not discounted, unless you are going after the month of August.

  4. i want to visit paris because it is a beautiful and famous country in the world sight seeing and have fun

  5. who wouldn't want to go to paris cheaply, but i'm afraid that's not possbile.from what i've heard france doesn't come cheap, but from what it can give you, i expect it to be expensive.

  6. You can get a single at the Hotel Tiquetonne, very centrally located and ideal for a frugal tourist for 30€ with shared facilities or 50€ with private toilet.

Paris is a very compact city and walking is often the best method of getting around. Public transportation is is some of the best in the world and very reasonably priced. You can ride all over central Paris for only a little more than 1€ per trip.

Restaurant meals can be very expensive but its also possible to eat very well for reasonable prices in local cafes and bistrots. The quality of food served at small street stands is excellant and prices are reasonable. Food shops sell prepared meals and sandwichs to take away which are good value for the money.

Of course, Paris is one of the most sophisticated and often visited cites in the world and not some third world backwater so  prices are only fairly compared to other European capitals. By that standard it is a very reasonably priced city to visit.

  7. you could get an apartment instead of a hotel, but i only recommend this when you are 2 or more people, on airline tickets you could get some for 1000 dollards the cheapest i've seen are at 800  dollards and about meals and going out i would say you have to spend like 500 dollards in a week, so i would calculate about 2500 dollards total, for that price i would stay longer because it's not much difference in pricing
