I would suggest Estival Park Hotel in La Pineda, Salou in the Costa Daurada.

Good Entertainment for kids in the day and night.

Near the hotel, about 500 yards away is a water theme park called 'Aquopolis' which is great.

10 minutes away from the hotel by bus is one of Europe's biggest theme parks called 'Port Aventura'.

Well worth a visit for all the family.

There is simply no better place than:

Hotel Don Pablo,

Torremolinos,

Costa del Sol.

its part of the sol hotel group and has many excellent factors suppoting it:

It's 15 mins from malaga airport, its very comfortable, good sized rooms, the food is amazing! the have a buffet set up with everything u could want to eat for breakfast lunch and dinner! but i would recomend only going half board because it's nice to eat out some nights or maybe you wont be hungry during the day to eat a lunch?!

there are 3 pools, a huge round deep pool, a kids pool and an indoor. all gorgteous. if you like sitting out in the sun then the pool area is pefect, theres a bar for snacks and ice pops etc.

But the main attraction for kids is the animacion team who provide entertainment for the kids and adults! they take the kids to play pool games like water polo, they also have discos sometimes and just things to keep them occupied!

for adults they have shooting, archery, darts, and they do a game where whoever can balance on a surfboard in the pool for the longest wins a prize! the hotel also gets entertainers to do shows every night of the week, and they're always different. very good!

torremolinos itself its brilliant, small little town with nice shops but the restaurants are just excellent! the puerto in benalmadina is 15 minutes walk along the beach and is full of excellent restaurants serving any type of food you desire.

also the hotel is rite on the beach, and a lovely beach at that!

if you want something different then there is the water park called aqua park nearby and a big fun park tivoli world. both make good days out.

i have been to this hotel 4-5 times with my family and loved it each time! we have since bought an apartment an hour from torremolinos in puerto banus, but we often go back up to walk around the town and to see the don pablo hotel, we had such great memories there!

i have also beem in salou and barcelona and other places around spain but for a family holiday it has to be torremolinos, in the don pablo hotel!

oh p.s it'll be very sunny but never humid or muggy so sun screen is a must!

benalmadena costa del sol.plenty to do 15 min from airport.water park,croc park,tivolli,dolphin shows,chair lifts up the mountains with bird of prey show,zoo,train station and all within a walk or local bus journey away which is a very good service.lovely beaches and a marina that bustles with life many places to eat and drink and plenty evening entertainment.there is something for everyone and unlike Britain the prices to all the parks are very reasonable and you can stay and walk around for hours.been taking my kids for years now and they love it .its a great place for a family holiday.
