Want to install new antivirus (AVG) ?

Okay, I have Mcafee and Norton which I really don't like, and it's says my computer is not protected, and I don't want virus/trojans or unwanted software, so if I install AVG if I already have a virus/trojan, could my system crash? Could I install in safe mode? Help please.

I am using NOD32 (http://www.nod32.com.sg), my friend told me that this is the no.1 antivirus, not like Norton or other antivirus taking too many system resources

If you already have a virus or any issues, nothing should happen, but no guarantees.

About Safe Mode, you may not be able to. You can try, and if there is a problem it will just remove itself again.

What you should do is uninstall McAFee and Norton because those program suck and take up alot of space and memory
