Want to join air force reserves ?

Question

So I want to join the AF reserves but I also want to go to college while I serve. Would I be able to do this? How would it work?

Heres some more questions I have:

Do they pay for college and if so how does it work?

When do you have to leave for basic training?

How much do you get paid?

Will I still be able to live a normal college life wile in the reserves?

I think your recruiter would be better suited to answer these questions for you.  You leave for basic based on the open slot and your chosen AFSC.   You are in the military and are subject to the UCMJ, so as long as you stay within the guidelines you should be okay.  Note that the reserves may get called up and you will be expected to serve full time. Period, no arguments or whining.
