Okay. your question has 2 parts power and signal. 1 power your going to have to cut a hole in to the wall behind the t.v. to run the power cord down and back out through another hole to a nearby outlet or have a qualified electrician move an outlet to a position behind the t.v....

2. signal,you can find wireless component-hdmi transmiter/receivers but there are farly expensive..over 500.00 from what i've seen. your best(and least expensive) is to run the cable from the box along with the powercord through the wall. plus if you decide to add a dvd player or surround sound or whatever it's jusyt a matter of putting those wires throught the same holes...

simplest thing to do is get an IR(infa-red) remote.  Most satelite companies offer these remotes when you upgrade to a dvr box.  here is a link for one by Sony

your going to have to run wires through the wall from the cable box to the tv.  To controll the cable box you are going to need an ir repeater system. you can buy them at most higher end home theater stores.
