Want to know if my daughter got arrested last night

Contact the local police departments, sheriffs departments, and hospitals.  While you do get to make phone calls, one can sit and wait a long time to be processed and transported from hold facility to jail and then wait for time to call. You could also call the city clerk office and ask as they keep the arrest report records also. Arrests are public record and open to hte public. Good luck

If she's a juvenile, don't they have to call you?

Just call your local precinct and ask them. If you're the legal guardian they can't refuse to tell you.

My dad always told me: "If you get arrested, call me and let me know where you are at.

I would ask, "You gonna come and bail me out?"

"Nope, I would know you were safe and could go to sleep."

If one is booked into a facility, one has one phone call, hopefully that would be to Mom or Dad?

Since she did not obviously make a call to you, I guess the next step as a parent, is to cal the local police or Sheriff Dept JAIL and ask id my daughter there?

hey, we were gonna move to Masn City but got attached to DSM.  Military family, originally from Iowa.  It's a good state.

If you daughter is a juvenile, then the police are required to contact a parent.  If you daughter is 18, then contact the local police or county jail.  They will tell you if she is being held there.

sometimes the police will not tell if a person is in jail if you have called the jail and feel this is whats happened call a bondsman and they can call the police station for you and the police will tell them if the person is in jail or not
