  1. Find out why college accreditation is important to your education, the accrediting agencies that give accreditation. Also how to check if an online college is legitimate:

How do you tell if an online college is a degree mill? fake college?

  2. Univ. of Pheonix does make you pay before you graduate. they also s***w students of their financial aid (reseach here on YA univ of Pheonix or online colleges and you will see). Most online colleges are not accredited which means employers will not take them. I went that route.. 3 classes from graudation they informed me I had to move to that state to use it because it wasn't accredited. All those courses I took and when I went back to an on campus college..NON of them would transfer.. You would be better off to attend a campus site and do their internet courses. It would be much cheaper too.. whatever you do..stay away from Univ. of Pheonix.

  3. Please stick with traditional colleges and uni's that offer online classes and steer clear of those online, for-profit schools such as penn foster, university of phoenix, ITT tech, sanford brown, capella, walden, kaplan, devry, keiser, strayer and others as they are merely out to 'make a profit':  http://www.capellauniversitysucks.us

  4. question? Why you don't sign up for a legitimate college and take the online courses offered there?

  5. You will find many negative comments and criticisms of Capella University, an on-line school on the Capella Facts web site - http://www.capellafacts.org/capella_univ...

  6. I attend University of Phoenix on-line. This school (which has a real location in AR) is definitely legit. You should check it out. You don't have to pay anything until you graduate. How much better can that get? I've worked with a few people that have received actual Bachelor degrees from the school. The difficult part about on-line schooling is the fact that you aren't in a face-to-face environment. Other than that, it's pretty feasible for most people.

  7. You have to look and research weather a reputable school would accept the courses you are taking and or sponsors the on line college. I do not know where you live but in Arizona on line schools like ITT Tech and University of Phoenix on line are accredited colleges.  If a place like ASU gives it credibility, than it is legitimate. If not, steer clear of it.
