a online file uploading website called 4shared had some mech books

search for the author or title, maybe subject, and you can have it

only return documents using the advanced search, some files are in rar format and need to be uncompressed with unrar

I'm in EE but I would check edaboard.com for pdf versions. Edaboard offers mostly electrical and software ebook links but the resources are very broad. I'm sure you would find any book on linear control or stochastic processes there.

I have had some good luck by checking with rapidshare and megaupload.
