Want to know some Worm Facts?

Question

I suddenly have a very keen interest in worms...so i want to know more about them

Some questions i have are:

1) For 1 worm, around how many worms will be laid in a cocoon thing?

2) How long does it take for a new born worm to grow into an adult?

3) About how far down does a worm go in the earth?

4) Can worms be used to make make-up? O_O

5) When a worm mates, since they have female and male organs, do both of them get pregnant?

Plz help me with these questions :D

#5 is; No.But they mate with the round plump part of there bodies
#4 is; that is disgusting! NO!
#3 is; my friend said the record is 1foot.But that may not be true.Becuase they,well,mine go 3inches for the most but thats my worm farm record.
