Want to know the status of PNR ??

Question

My friend gave me a PNR number of a train which departed last week.. But can i know the details of the train ?? When i put that PNR number at indianrail.gov.in it gives me PNR flushed out / Not yet generated ..... Is there any other way by which i can know the details of that paticular PNR ???

IT IS BECAUSE THE TRAIN HAS REACHED ITS DESTINATION.

PNR (Passenger Name Record) number is passenger status for  reservation.
