Want to learn TCP/IP ?

Does anyone have book ideas or websites, that can give me information on TCP/IP... I want to learn about packets, how to read them etc... Or is tcp/ip where i need to start?

That seems to have a good amount about tcp/ip, and a little about packets. To learn all you can about packets you need to go a little deeper into networking, and it's hard to find a good guide online, because there are so results for things like home networking, and stores selling books on networking when you google it.

However the best way to learn it is to get a cisco book, but they can get expensive. I would suggest going to a local library and see if they carry any CCNA books (preferably endorsed by cisco, but any should work fine).
