  1. Spagetti! Boil some noodles, pur on some tomato sauce and viola!

  2. Actually, pasta is really easy and inexpensive. But you should add some things to make it more special.

So, buy some sauce in a jar.  Classico makes the best kinds and I really like the Spicy Tomato and Basil or the Four Cheese.  But find some vegetables and fry them in about a 1/4 cup of oil for about 5 minutes.  Good ones to chop up and use are : garlic (crush it or finely chop it) onions, mushroom, zucchini, tomato, carrots (very finely sliced).

Once you've sauteed your veggies, add them to the sauce in a pot and heat over low heat.  You could also add a bit more spice -- like pepper, oregano, thyme, basil, bay leaves -- just do it slowly and keep tasting because you don't want to go overboard.

Also, once you've cooked your pasta, be sure to add yummy butter and parmasean cheese to it before you add your sauce.  You can also add some more seasonings to the pasta.  I always make the pasta good enough to eat even without the red sauce.  It just adds a lot of flavor.

  3. Green Chile Cottage Cheese Salad
