Want to know stuff about licenses, permits, registrations and how to go about getting them. Tried searching on Google, but couldn't find anything directly related to what I am looking for.

Additionally, if it's Mumbai and I am looking at a darn good location and about 900 square feet, which location should I go in for and how much should I be ready to shell out (if I were to take it on lease)?

Thanks much in advance.

  1. You will get everything in mumbai if u have money but one important thing is, in every business there  u should have a good social link around , if not find a trustworthy partner.

My experience in mumbai proves it since i am brought up in this part and exposed to all the plus and minus of business culture in mumbai

  2. Look around Flora Fountain area.

  3. hustler is right contact on the given numbers and also make sure that you are not opening restaurant near flora fountain, reason is simple it would then definitely cost you truck load of money.

Try suburbs or try malad or kandivli area... I have learned that gujaraties are living in these localities and you know that gujaraties are more likely to eat in restaurant than in home.

  4. Get in touch with your local shop-owners/merchant's association or society. They will guide you on this matter...
