My recurrent nightmare: I am alone at my parents' house (even though I am now 31 and haven't lived there for over 12 years). An intruder tries to get into the house and tries to overpower me. I usually escape and run through the yard, only to learn that the intruder has accompolises (either waiting in a car or standing in the yard).

The intruder is usually female. The accomplises are usually male. I don't know if that part is significant. I wake up before they harm me.

What do you think my subconscious is telling me?

wow, sounds to me like you never really left home.  The intruder is yourself trying to get you the heck out of that old house cause you dont belong there anymore.  If it scares you, it helps to write down some funnny stories about it.

You could feel 'trapped' or a sense of being trapped ....maybe anxiety in life?

Sometimes dreams, though they recur can just be plays on your mind, maybe from a movie or a mixture of the before mentioned and 'story' [movies,stories,etc]

I believe subconscious can tell how you feel or what you're thinking of, but the fact it could tell the future or physical harm to you that's forecomming, i doubt it.

It's probably just a bad nightmare an idea or logic stuck in your head - possibly [as seeing 2nd bun in the oven] ..maybe extra 'stress' [maybe not a bad stress] in life...

Childhood home in this case I feel means that you are havnig desires to build a family or settle down (perhaps you are already heading or have headed in that direction)

Strangers (the robbers) they are dream helpers (yes i'm serious) sometimes dream helpers come to help us gather info to figure out what's going on, in this case they're just playing a small part in the over all pic. They're robbing you which is trying to bring awareness that perhaps you have suffered a loss, or perhaps soemone has stolen credit for something youv'e done. They're trying totell you time to let go my dear.

The yard represents aspects of yoru life that feel out of control your running to try and catch your control back and you will in time.
