MS or PhD in solid state physics if you want to research the process.  Engineering (electrical, mechanical, thermal, semiconductor) if you want to design collectors or systems.  Business if you're interested in the business aspects.  Economics and government if you want to influence public policy.  Carpenter/electrician apprentice if you just want to install them.
