Want to put a picture as my desk top background... but

When I apply it, it keeps stretching it out, and I have tried the personalize settings and can not change it, I have even tried to resize the original photo, any suggestions to what I can do, I would love the help!

what is your screen resulation or what is your operating system. If Mac I have no answer! If pc send me the pic with the answers!

You have three possibilities to place the picture in that dialog:

Center, Side by side or Stretch.

Otherwise you'll have to resize/crop the picture to the same size (in pixels) as the desktop resolution.

With a wide screen monitor, there are problems fitting an ordinary picture thus keeping everything on the picture, but if you crop out areas from top and bottom, you might succeed.

Make some copies of the picture to experiment with.
