  1. You have asked this twice, please delete one of your questions.

    Many thanks.

  2. Races can be won in corners...Just remember this..Out side elbow up and weight the outside peg..look at your exit not at your front tire..Hit your jumps at a steady speed.. don't braap the throttle at the lip...just steady speed like 3rd or 4th gear..

Corners is the MAIN thing you want to practice...corners,corners,corners...

Look where you are starting to break before a corner..Mark that spot with something...Move your marker ahead of your last break spot...As you can come in hotter and hotter to the corner keep moving your marker ahead a few feet this will help you break later and later.....Always try to apply 70% front and 30% back break when you hit your mark...do this while the bike is still up-right..like use the breaks hard and go into the corner hot...

if you use our practice secrets you will get faster...

  3. There are numerous things to work on, but races are mostly won and lost in 3 different areas; the start, the corners and the whoops. If you don't have a good whoop section just work on starts and corners, that is extremely important!! Jumping never won a race.

  4. you could work on jumping but the most important thing in racing is the turns. if you can go in fast and come out fast you'll be ok. if you have a track with jumps you can already jump so you'll be fine with that. if you want clear the woods trails. those are good for practicing staying in one section of the track so you're not all over the place on a wider track. stay on the inside turns too

  5. Where do you live? there are schools you can go to to help you learn.....practice jumping the tabetop though, here in NM they jump the whole dang table toop. even if you don't do it, still go race, just so you can say you have done it!

  6. Just get out there and ride as much as you can and if you have some speed get out there and tear them up you could look for trainers in your area and start a training program now on the track stuff just find your strength like the whoops or turns or jumps and go for your passes there. Then after your confident with your main attack section focus hard on another section until you have it down

  7. Practice your corners.

Anyone can ride fast in straight lines.

Watch some races, you will find that the first corner determined who lead and who's behinde, and most riders take the other riders out at corners. (wheel block..etc).

Yeah, jumps are important too...but all you need to execute jumps are perfect speed, body position, landing...

invest 30% of your time in jumps and 70% at corners.

I watch supercross religiously, study how riders handle whoops, jumps, turns..etc...It helps a lot.
