  1. According to my source,

"he T180 has a lot of expansion possibilities inside, including space for up to four RAM DIMMs, two PCI cards, one PCIe x1 card, and a single PCIe x16 slot for a graphics card."

This means you should be able to buy a current video card and install it in that computer.  The only problem you'll have is with the powersupply in the machine.  I don't know whats in there, but it can't be that good.  You can probably skate by with a 3650/8600GT, but I wouldn't try anything more power hungry.  If you can, replace the PSU first, then get a good video card.

Edit: Yes it will work, but the 8500GT is such a low end card that you might was well not spend the money on it.  About the only good thing with the 8500GT is you probably don't need to upgrade your PSU.  Consider getting at least the 3650, or for a bit more, the 8600GT.  If your gaming demands are higher, you need at least a 9600GT/GSO, or the 8800GS/GT.  I hear the 3850 can be had for $60ish, and the 3870 is around $100, so either of those wouldn't be bad either.

  2. Wait, I never thought that Crysis would even launch with that chip. Amazing! Anyway, your video chip is integrated into the motherboard, but you've also got a pci-e 16x slot for better cards. For Cysis, you'll need a minimum of an 8800-series/9600 card tpo really play. Minimum. The game is an utter pig, and sadly, has little to show for it but gratuitous eye candy and tired play. You'll also need a new power supply with at least 26 or so 12v amps.

  3. If you have Onboard video then the monitor should plug into the back of the I/O plugs of the computer. If its a video card then the monitor plug will be close to the bottom of the back of the computer. The only problem I can see with upgrading your video would be if your still using a AGP style video card. If you are then you can buy a higher video card, but it wont be anything special. If its the new style video (I forget the name) then you can upgrade to whatever you want.
