Want to return to England

Question

I am a canadian/british citizen and have lived in Canada for 28 years, I am seriously thinking of return to my birth country in the near future. Does anyone know what I can do to get this started, what I will need.

Money of course. Plus check if your still a British citizen I guess.

Plus take a friend who really really wants to go to the UK *hint* Me :D
