I can show you my graduating class pictures - 147 of them, at least - because I spent 3 days cutting them out of a yearbook on CD that our class reunion chair lent me, and pasting them onto the class web site.

Unless someone equally thoughtful, clever, well-equipped, computer savvy and, above all, devilishly handsome, did the same for those classes, they won't be on the web, because it would cost too much for the revenue generated.

The web is wonderful. It isn't magic. 95 percent of the data in the world is still on paper, in libraries.
