Want to study Social Work and Law would i benefit from takin law?

I want to major in social worker and have a minor in Law ... my question is am i going to benefit from taking law ? while also majoring in social work. do the two combined go well together ?

Technically I'm not sure there is a "law" minor - law is generally only offered as a pre-professional degree (para-legal) or professional degree (JD).  

Now law and social work go together very well.  In fact there are quite a few joint MSW/JD degree programs (check out SUNY Albany and Buffalo, University of Denver and many others).

Also the policy side of social work is another place where the legal side is emphasized.
