  1. If you want a helpful directory for students, try www.studyusa.com. As far as I know, it's the most comprehensive site so you can do your search based on your choice of major, education level (Associate, Certificate, Bachelor, Master, Diploma, etc) and the state you want to go.

For Australia, you can start by clicking on www.idp.com (it's the official representative for people who are planning to pursue their education in OZ.

If you already have a list of colleges you're considering (eg. Curtin, University of Melbourne/Sydney, Monash, etc), you can log on to their respective websites. The same goes with US colleges.

  2. Take a look at this online guide for international students who want to study in the US:

    http://www.universitylanguage.com/guides...

It's basically a how-to guide and includes advice on choosing a university, applying, and what to expect.

  3. To compare costs look at http://www.geebeeworld.com . You must go through http://educationusa.state.gov since it is the US government's official site for foreigners opting for American education. As for the UK, http://www.britishcouncil.org is your sole resort for everything you need. Australian government has the official website http://idp.com/ to sort out things for foreigners. Look for their offices in your nation All the best!
